Has technology made the difference between a bottom line profit or loss in your independent agency? Have you launched some new tech initiative, or built a successful, long-term automation infrastructure that gives your firm a big edge over less tech-savvy competitors?
If so, you should enter your organization in the second annual National Underwriter “Agency Technology Achievement Award” program, run in partnership with the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum.
Agents are encouraged to enter their own IT initiatives for consideration.
However, insurers, managing general agencies and tech vendors are also welcome to nominate an agency for NU to contact about entering the award program–although a third-party nomination is not required for an agency to participate.
To the winners, go the spoils, such as:
o Three award-winning agencies will have their technology achievements spotlighted in NU's May 18, 2009 edition.
o Representatives from each of the trio of award winning agencies will also receive roundtrip airfare and a three-night hotel stay to attend the ACORD LOMA Insurance Systems Forum in Orlando, on May 17-19, 2009.
o The winners will share the secrets of their tech success during a panel discussion at the ACORD LOMA Forum, highlights of which will appear in NU's June 22 edition.
