VERTEX, Inc., a provider of professional services and software to the insurance industry, has announced it has formed a strategic alliance with Insurance Technologies, LLC, a provider of point-of-sale illustration software for the insurance and financial services industries.
This alliance supports Insurance Technologies' recently launched VisibleChoice multicarrier annuity sales platform. Insurance Technologies will leverage the VERTEX VTXml Annuity Profile platform expertise for publishing and maintaining the standards-based annuity product information. VisibleChoice relies on product data to enable features from multiple annuity products to be compared and then illustrated for streamlined selling. Improved analysis and compliance processing coupled with product illustrations results in accelerated contract issuance for the selling organization.
VERTEX brings to the partnership the expertise in modeling, publishing, and maintaining standards-based annuity product information. Its VTXml Annuity Profile platform provides insurance carriers with an annuity product repository plus a versioning and publishing tool that transmits up-to-date annuity product data to Insurance Technologies in an efficient and automated fashion.
