Guy Carpenter & Company reinsurance brokerage announced today that Elizabeth Keys has been appointed chief financial officer effective immediately, filling the post previously held by Ajay Junnarkar.
Prior to joining the firm, Guy Carpenter said Ms. Keys was senior vice president and CFO of Syncora Holdings. Her responsibilities included the management of the firm's global finance function, including accounting, budgeting and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
Before joining Syncora, Ms. Keys held a number of senior level positions at General Motors Corporation from 1997 to 2005, including controller of GMAC Commercial Finance, director of Workforce Management-Employment Cost Analysis and director of Investor Relations. She began her career in Deloitte and Touche's Audit division.
