Farmers Insurance Group of Companies has been named the official insurance sponsor of the Tournament of Roses Parade.
Bob Woudstra, Farmers Group Inc. chief executive officer, said the company has been involved in the parade for 50 years and this marks an expanded role for the company as Official Insurance Sponsor and Official Supporter of the Rose Parade Bands.
“We are excited to expand the Farmers' role and look forward to working with the Tournament of Roses,” said Mr. Woudstra.
Los Angeles-based Farmers Group is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zurich, Switzerland-based Zurich Financial Services.
