The Insurance Industry Charitable Foundation said it will honor Swiss Re Americas Division Chairman Pierre Ozendo Dec.10 at a charity dinner in New York.
The event, which will also include former Secretary of State Colin Powell, will pay tribute to Swiss Re's commitment to sustainability of resources and the environment, the Foundation said.
“In more than 30 years of service, Pierre has built an enviable reputation as one of the most distinguished and effective leaders in the insurance industry,” said Brian Duperreault, president and chief executive of Marsh & McLennan Companies, Inc., who is dinner chairman. “With his support and guidance, Swiss Re has contributed extensively to sustainable development in economic, social and environmental dimensions.”
