AIR Worldwide Corporation (AIR) announced it has expanded ISO PushPin, its database of property-specific building characteristics used by many insurance companies to streamline the policy quoting process.

ISO PushPin is compiled by AIR and is available through 360Value, a replacement cost estimator.

AIR said ISO PushPin is being expanded by more than five million properties in eight new states: Indiana, Maine, North Dakota, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, South Dakota and Wyoming.

ISO PushPin now includes property-specific information on over 75 million residential properties in 48 states plus the District of Columbia, said AIR.

“ISO PushPin is an excellent way for insurers to jumpstart the property valuation process,” said Edmund Webecke, general manager for 360Value. “Upon entry of an address, the ISO PushPin database is immediately accessed and, if available, property-specific information is prefilled into the appropriate fields. Agents can save time by simply verifying property information, rather than collecting it from scratch.”

AIR said ISO PushPin can prefill as many as 17 property characteristics into 360Value, including information such as year built, total living area, roof type and shape, exterior wall type, heating and cooling systems, and more.
