Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Roberts & Roberts Insurance Service Inc. in Greensboro, N.C. Financial terms were not released.
AJG said, Roberts & Roberts Insurance Service is a retail insurance broker providing commercial property-casualty and risk management services in the Southeast, specializing in insurance coverage for the transportation, construction and manufacturing industries. The firm commenced operations in 1994.
Wayne Roberts, principal, and his associates numbering about 21, will continue to operate in their Greensboro location under the direction of Mitchel Brashier, Southeastern Regional Manager of Gallagher's retail property-casualty brokerage operation.
