AMS Services, an agency management software vendor and a Vertafore, Inc. company, said Bill Bunker has been named AMS Services president.

The announcement said Mr. Bunker will report directly to Euan Menzies, president and chief executive officer of parent company, Vertafore, based in Bothell, Wash. Since 2005, Mr. Menzies served as AMS Services president in addition to his primary responsibilities at Vertafore.

In addition, the firms said Ed Roshitsh is being promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer (COO) of AMS Services, reporting to Mr. Bunker.

"Over the past three years, we dramatically improved our customers' experiences and product offerings. Bill and Ed were both instrumental in this success and continued growth of the business," said Mr. Menzies. "With these appointments, AMS Services can accelerate decision- making and execute on its initiatives."

In his new role, the companies said Mr. Bunker will work on business expansion, operational execution and divisional strategy. He joined AMS Services in 2005 as senior vice president of products and marketing. Prior to that, he was vice president of marketing and business development at MessageGate, Inc.

The announcement said that Mr. Roshitsh, as executive vice president and COO, will have broad responsibility for revenue-generating and customer-facing activities including sales, customer service, professional services and implementation. He joined AMS Services in March 2006 as senior vice president of sales and enterprise operations.

AMS Services offers a comprehensive, insurance-specific solution for managing critical business activities, including property-casualty and benefits management, business intelligence, and carrier connectivity.
