An Oct. 13 NU Online report on an ACE Ltd. preliminary third quarter earnings announcement, that referred to a $1.5 billion loss, should have reported it as net realized and unrealized investment loss

An Oct. 13 NU Online report on an ACE Ltd. preliminary third quarter earnings announcement, that referred to a $1.5 billion loss, should have reported it as net realized and unrealized investment loss. The company said it estimates that operating income for the third quarter will be between $1.44 and $1.48 per common share.
