Frank Named Chair Of IIABNJ

The Independent Insurance Agents and Brokers of New Jersey said it has named Jacqueline Frank, of Tri-County Agency of Bricktown, N.J., to chair the association.

Ms. Frank was sworn in during the association's 115th annual conference held recently in Atlantic City, N.J.

She will serve term of one year.

The association also announced that:

o Terry M. Ryan of Hanson & Ryan in Totowa, N.J. will serve as chairman-elect.

o Ronald Gansfuss of Gansfuss Agency in Clinton, N.J., was named vice chairman.

o Charles S. Stults III of Allen and Stults in Hightstown, N.J., will continue as National Director.

o William H. Malone, Jr. of Continental Marmorstein & Malone in Paramus, N.J., will serve as immediate past chairman.

o Daniel W. Wyrsch of Van Dyk Group in Manahawkin, N.J., will serve as chairman of the Young Agents Council (YAC) board.

o Sean Ryan of Hanson & Ryan in Totowa, N.J., will serve as YAC chairman-elect.

o Cherise M. Gonzalez of Schumacher Insurance Group in West Paterson, N.J., will serve as YAC vice chairwoman.

o Tee Atkins of Alsop & Company in Summit, N.J., will serve the YAC board as immediate past-chairman.

The association also awarded the following honors to members:

o Howard A. Kucher, a past board member of the IIABNJ, was posthumously honored with the Henry A. Franz Insurance Person of the Year Award for valuable contribution to the health and advancement of the insurance industry and the American agency system.

o Louis Sofianakos, of AAA New Jersey Insurance Agency in Florham Park, N.J., received Howard Kucher IIABNJ Board Member of the Year Award.

o Charles S. Stults, III of Allen & Stults Co, Inc. in Hightstown, N.J., received the American Association of Managing General Agents Achievement Award.

o John “Jack” E. Blair, of Nottingham Agency, Inc. in Hamilton Square, N.J., received the Richard C. Hardenbergh Community Service Award.
