MULTICO-Online, a new Web-based comparative rater developed by rating technology company MULTICO Rating Systems Incorporated, is the result of more than two years of development and represents what the company calls the next generation of rating technology from MULTICO.
"MULTICO recognizes independent agents need to be more efficient in order to compete with direct writers, but real-time rates and 24/7 Web access are only a part of the equation," says MULTICO president and CEO Charlie Anderson. "MULTICO-Online takes our proven rating and underwriting technology from the desktop to the Web and combines the features our customers have enjoyed with previous MULTICO products into a 24/7 accessible Web-based comparative rater that allows agents to rate all their markets."
Built using the technology of netPOSitive, a Web-based insurance portal for carriers, MULTICO-Online provides users real-time and manufactured rating via single-entry multi-company input (SEMCI).
