Fort Worth, Texas-based Property Damage Appraisers Inc. announced that Chief Operating Officer Rodney Caudill has been named chief executive officer.
The post has been held on an interim basis since June 2007 by company Chairman Merrell Athon. Mr. Athon continues as chairman.
The company said Mr. Caudill has served as company COO since June of 2007. He joined the firm in 1999 as a regional operations manager and was promoted to vice president of Business Development in 2004.
Mr. Caudill's insurance career began in 1993, with experience in both sales and claims, and he holds the Chartered Property and Casualty Underwriter and the Associate in Claims designations, PDA said.
PDA is a nationwide network of 270 franchise offices and more than 900 auto and property appraisers. The firm says it is the largest automobile appraisal and inspection service network in the industry.
