EbizQ.net announced today that it will hold “the industry's first virtual conference focusing solely on SOA governance issues,” Sept. 24, beginning at 11 a.m. in ebizQ's virtual environment.

According to New Rochelle, N.Y.-based ebizQ.net, keynotes and panel discussions will cover a full range of governance issues and solutions, including data governance, registries, repositories and run-time service governance.

The agenda for this event is online at: http://www.ebizq.net/events/virtual_conferences/calendar/events/governance/.

SOA (service oriented architecture) crosses departmental and organizational boundaries to increase efficiency between them, the company noted. “This is a good thing for business users, but it often brings challenges for IT management. In short, if you want to reuse services developed by disparate organizations, you're going to need comprehensive governance policies,” said ebizQ.net.

According to SOA, the Governance conference sessions will address:

o How to quickly organize for SOA Governance.

o How to pick the right governance technologies for your project and company.

o Lessons learned and best practices from organizations implementing SOA governance.

The event will include a panel discussion and allow attendees to have their questions answered live by governance experts, the company added. Larry Fulton, senior analyst at Forrester Research, will conclude the conference by giving an overview of the service life-cycle management process.
