Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International Limited announced a company reorganization, either transferring or expanding the duties of three of its chief managers.
Hub said that as of Oct. 1, the company will make the following management changes:
o Dennis Pauls, currently chief executive officer of Hub Ontario, will become CEO of Hub Midwest West (Chicago).
o Bill Zanoni, currently CEO of Midwest West, will become the chairman and chief marketing officer for Midwest West.
o Neil Morrison, currently CEO of HKMB Hub International, will become the CEO for both Hub Ontario and HKMB Hub.
Hub said that Hub Ontario and HKMB Hub, both in Ontario, Canada, will remain as separate legal entities. However, collaboration of their respective executive teams is anticipated under Mr. Morrison's leadership.
HKMB was acquired earlier this year and, in addition to Ontario, has an office in Toronto, Canada.
Hub International said it anticipates that a unified strategy for Ontario will allow the company to take advantage of opportunities to improve client service, efficiency, productivity and market access.
“Ontario represents an extraordinary opportunity for Hub International to have a commanding presence in the marketplace through a consolidated approach,” Kirk James, president of the central region of Hub International, said in a statement. “All of our stakeholders, and especially our clients, will benefit from the collaboration of our two retail Ontario hubs.”
