Optical Image Technology, Inc. (OIT), creators of the DocFinity suite of document management and workflow software, has announced a partnership with Erie Custom Computer Applications (ECCA), which supplies custom software solutions and services for data processing and payroll management.
The integration of DocFinity with ECCA's Mutual Expert policy administration system offers an easy-to-use solution for scanning policies, claims, photos, insurance quotes, and correspondence, and storing them in a central digital repository where they can be easily and securely retrieved. Underwriters and claims processors benefit from instant access to accurate and detailed information. Processing cycles can be shortened dramatically, resulting in better and faster service.
"This partnership enables our companies to offer collectively centralized storage and secure, ready access to information during the document life cycle," states Jim Thumma, vice president of sales, marketing, and professional services at OIT. "Together, our companies offer a wide range of products and services that are designed to meet insurers' needs, helping them to work faster and smarter."
