Max Capital Group Ltd., a specialty insurer and reinsurer, has announced two promotions.
David Kalainoff will be managing director and executive vice president of Max Bermuda Ltd.'s reinsurance operations.
The company said Mr. Kalainoff has previously served as the company's executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, casualty reinsurance, for all reinsurance operations. Max Capital Group said that Mr. Kalainoff will continue to serve in his chief underwriting officer role.
Adam Mullan, who has served as executive vice president and chief underwriting officer, specialty reinsurance, will be managing director and executive vice president of Max Re Europe Limited, which is based in Dublin. He will relocate to Dublin from Bermuda, and will also continue in his chief underwriting officer role, the company said.
The company also announced that John Doucette, who was president of reinsurance, will leave Max Capital Group to pursue other opportunities.
