James E. Rutrough, vice chairman and chief administrative officer of Bloomington, Ill.-based State Farm Mutual Automobile Insurance Company was named the chairman of Junior Achievement U.S.A.
He will be responsible for providing strategic direction to Junior Achievement U.S.A. In addition, he will promote support of Junior Achievement within the State Farm network, and will leverage State Farm expertise to support Junior Achievement initiatives.
Mr. Rutrough has been on Junior Achievement's U.S. board since 2003.
"I am thrilled to expand my role with Junior Achievement–State Farm strongly believes in the impact of JA's work readiness, entrepreneurship, and financial literacy curricula and the value they provide to students," Mr. Rutrough said in a statement.
