Chicago-based insurance broker Aon Corporation said it has named Damien Guermonprez as chief executive officer of Aon France.
He replaces Vincent Redier, who will continue to serve as executive chairman of Aon France, member of the executive board of Aon Risk Services and chairman of Aon Re Europe-Middle East-Africa, the company said.
Mr. Guermonprez, 45, joined Aon last year from Banque Accord where he served since 1999 as chief executive officer of the consumer credit card and e-banking subsidiary of Auchan Group, a European-based retail store. He will be a member of the Aon Risk Services executive board.
From 1995 to 1999 Mr. Guermonprez was director of financial services for Case Europe and managing director and founder of Case Credit Europe, a European sales financing group. He also has held senior positions with Renault Credit International and with 3 Suisses International in Belgium.
