CLG Financial said the agency has changed its name to CLG Insurance to reflect its growing role delivering commercial, personal and employee benefits insurance lines to its customers.
The firm has offices in Nanuet, N.Y., and Clifton, N.J. It was founded in 1997 with the merger of The Carpezzi Agency and The Leibert Group.
“We are very excited about our new direction,” said Ed Carpezzi, president & chief executive officer of CLG Insurance. “We took a good, long look at who we are, what we do, and how to be even better. In the last few years, through the sale of our broker-dealer, we have shifted focus away from investment and financial management services, and grown our offerings of commercial, personal and employee benefits insurance solutions.”
He said the agency still offers qualified retirement plans such as 401k through our employee benefits division.
CLG said it has developed a new logo and modernized its branding, implemented new customer service initiatives, and launched its new Web site, www.clginsurance.com. Web content in both Spanish and Korean are currently in development.
