Malvern, Pa.-based Chartered Property Casualty Underwriters Society announced it will broadcast a July 29 webinar on performance management.

CPCU said the session will deal with specific, proven techniques to help employees deal with change and directly and positively motivate their performance and build their confidence.

The organization announced that the webinar beginning at noon costs $59 for CPCU Society members and $69 for nonmembers and is for anyone who supervises or manages one or more employees and would like to maximize their performance.

Marsha Egan, chief executive officer of The Egan Group Inc., an executive coaching firm, is the presenter at the seminar.

Techniques to be discussed are as follows:

o How to set the stage for positive interaction.

o When to deliver feedback.

o How to bring about change in behavior.

o How to turn a mistake into a helpful learning experience.

o How to motivate continued improving performance.

“It provides needed tools to help you feel more comfortable giving feedback, and help your employees learn from their mistakes and continually improve their performance,” CPCU said.

Registration is online at www.cpcusociety.org. The session carries one continuing professional development credit for CPCUs and the organization said that taped versions of CPCU Society webinars on demand can be viewed by logging on to the CPCU Society Web site.
