Willis International Holdings, a division of the insurance brokerage firm Willis Group Holdings, said it has named Margo Black as chief executive officer for its reinsurance operations in Brazil.

Ms. Black will be responsible primarily for the technical and sales development of wholesale business in Brazil, Willis said.

She will also represent the firm's treaty division, Willis Re, in expanding their client offering in the newly opened Brazilian reinsurance marketplace. She will be based in Rio de Janeiro.

Ms. Black joins Willis from Allianz Brazil, where she was the main board director responsible for the insurer's global and corporate division managing corporate risks, large brokers, global programs and commercial reinsurance matters. Previous to Allianz, Ms. Black was chief operating officer for the JLT Group responsible for the Latin American division.
