ICW Group, a group of insurers, announced that its workers' compensation division has enhanced Snap, the Web-based software tool to automatically upload data from agency management systems, centralize data, and speed the quoting process.

Snap was introduced to agents and brokers in February 2008. By listening to the feedback of their agents and brokers, ICW Group made improvements to their technology solution and has now released Snap 1.2. Upgrades include adding more functionality and further simplifying the quoting process.

Snap's automatic upload of client information eliminates the need to re-key data, thus streamlining the workflow for their agents and brokers. Improvements include a homepage that displays detailed information about an agency/broker's book of business with ICW Group; the ability to print an application in the standard ACORD format; pre-qualification tool that provides agents and brokers with information on ICW Group's risk appetite; and the ability to reassign an application to another person within the agency or brokerage.

"When adding functionality to Snap, we listened to our customers and found ways to further develop the technology solution and increase the productivity of our agents and brokers," says Paul Zamora, vice president of ICW's workers' compensation division.
