The New York TriCounty Independent Insurance Agents Association said Evan S. Portnoy was named president of the group at a recent meeting.
Mr. Portnoy is president of benefit planning for Rampart Brokerage Corp. in New Hyde Park, N.Y. He was elected to a one-year term.
Other officers include: Stephen J. Folan of the Folan Agency, LLC, in Port Washington, N.Y., vice president; Steven Visco, treasurer; and Richard Longueira, secretary.
The TriCounty IIAA is comprised of more than 300 independent insurance member agencies and brokerages doing business in the counties of Nassau, Queens, Kings and Richmond, N.Y.
