Anthony M. Stonis was named chairman and Douglas R. Kuiken vice chairman of the board of directors of New Jersey Manufacturers Insurance Company based in West Trenton, N.J.
Mr. Stonis is president of Cardolite Corp., a Newark, N.J., manufacturing firm. Mr. Stonis, a Cranbury, N.J., resident, first joined the board in 1997. He has served as vice chairman since 2005.
Mr. Stonis succeeds Vincent C. Bonica, retired chairman of the Edison, N.J., manufacturer L.A. Dreyfus Company. Mr. Bonica was chairman for three years and will continue serving on the board.
Mr. Kuiken is president of The Kuiken Brothers Company Inc. of Fair Lawn, N.J., a hardware, building supply and lumber company. Mr. Kuiken was first elected to NJM's board in 2003.
