AuditSentry, software that lets auto insurers review repair estimates for compliance with audit rules, has been released by Scene Genesis, Inc. AuditSentry is a Web-based tool that accepts data files from all three major auto estimating systems and verifies compliance against the insurer's audit rules, tracks changes, and compares them to submitted supplements.
"Given the sheer number volume of claims, enforcing guidelines manually is hit or miss. This tool ensures automated consistency every time," says Ian Cunningham, CEO of Scene Genesis.
AuditSentry translates EMS data and displays the repair estimates line items. It electronically documents requested changes in the estimate and highlights noncompliant lines. The software creates a .PDF document for distribution of change requests. All EMS data and documentation is stored and can be accessed on the Web so insurers do not need to maintain it in their systems.
