Advance Insurance Services acquired the assets of J.D Ellington Insurance Services Inc. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
Advance Insurance Services completed the acquisition to grow their existing commercial lines department. Based in Las Vegas, Advance Insurance Services sells personal and commercial lines through four retail locations in Nevada.
Doug Ellington, owner and founder of J.D. Ellington Insurance Services Inc., sold his agency to become vice president of sales and marketing for Meadowbrook Insurance Company. Established 10 years ago, J.D. Ellington Insurance Services Inc. specialized in large commercial accounts including manufacturing, dairy and workers compensation.
