Marsh Organizes Global Risk Division

Marsh brokerage said it has named seven executives to head up its Global Risk Management Division, with several other organizational moves.

The New York-based firm, a unit of Marsh & McLennan Companies, said it has appointed seven regional leaders for its global leadership structure.

They are:

o Peter Cleyn to head up Canada.

o Andrew Perry to head up Latin America.

o George Davies will head up the United Kingdom.

o Bruce Trigg will head up Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.

o Bruce Gordon and George Tarabaras will lead the Pacific region.

o Michael Johnson will lead Asia.

Timothy J. Mahoney Jr., president of Global Risk Management, will also serve as the division's U.S. leader on an interim basis.

Marsh said it established a multinational practice to be led by Howard B. Whitmore. The practice will coordinate Marsh's delivery of insurance brokerage and risk consulting services for clients operating in all parts of the world.

The firm said it has created a product management division under the leadership of William D. “Kip” Irle II. Marsh said he is charged with honing “the firm's ability to identify clients' global risk challenges and opportunities, develop new products and solutions to address those needs, and deliver solutions to clients.”

Marsh also introduced enhanced online features through its policy management system, MarshConnect, to provide clients instant access to country-specific regulatory and insurance-related tax requirements and additional services for clients.
