The Alexandria, Va.-based Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America announced that insurer AAA Minnesota/Iowa has joined in the Trusted Choice marketing campaign.
AAA thus becomes the 50th company member to join the independent agent branding effort.
The Minnesota State Automobile Association was founded in 1907, and the Motor Club of Iowa was founded in 1922. AAA Minnesota and AAA Iowa merged in 1997, and became AAA Minnesota/Iowa, making it the 14th largest AAA affiliate at that time.
In 2002, AAA Minnesota/Iowa merged with the Auto Club Group. The association offers personal insurance protection for auto, home, life and a variety of other coverages.
Trusted Choice was launched in 2001 by the IIABA to highlight the benefits independent agencies and brokerage firms offer consumers–choice of companies, customization of policies and advocacy support.
