The Professional Insurance Agents of New York (PIANY) is now accepting nominations for three “Distinction of Professionalism” awards, which will be presented to winning agents at its annual conference in Atlantic City.
The Professional Agent of the Year award will go to an agent demonstrating “excellence and achievement in insurance marketing and service, personal commitment to professionalism, and contributions to PIA and the community,” PIANY said.
The Distinguished Insurance Service award will go to an agent with “an established history of service to the American agency system and/or PIANY,” the association said.
The Community Service award will go to someone with a leadership role in a “significant activity for the better of the community and/or its individuals,” PIANY said.
The deadline for submissions is May 1. Awards will be presented at the PIANJ/PIANY Joint Annual Conference, June 8-10 at the Trump Taj Mahal Casino Resort, Atlantic City, N.J.
