St. Petersburg, Fla.-based Ethos Investigative Services Inc., a risk mitigation provider, has acquired Lexington, Ky.-based insurance fraud investigative firm InspectaClaims, LLC. Terms of the deal were not released.
Ethos now provides on-site surveillance operations in Kentucky, Florida and Alabama.
Joining Ethos will be Peter Wilkins, InspectaClaims' former owner, who was named vice president of business development.
Mr. Wilkins brings 15 years of insurance experience, including eight years in investigative services, to the business development position. He launched InspectaClaim in Kentucky in 2006.
The acquisition is effective immediately and Ethos will maintain its corporate office in St. Petersburg and a satellite office in Lexington.
