Insurance broker Marsh, a unit of New York-based Marsh & McLennan Companies, has named Jeremy D. Cooke to the new position of global head of Market Relationship Management.
Mr. Cooke was previously senior adviser in Marsh's Global Markets Practice.
Based in London, Mr. Cooke will support Joe McSweeny, president, U.S./Canada division; Alex Moczarski, president, International Division; and Sandy Vietor, president of Marsh's Global Specialties. He will report to Mr. Moczarski.
"In most markets," said Mr. Cooke, "Marsh is the largest broker in terms of premium volume, and I look forward to ensuring we turn our position of strength into the delivery of world-class solutions and services to our clients."
Marsh said Mr. Cooke will also head MRM within the International Division. Adam Kagan has been appointed to head MRM for U.S./Canada and will report to Mr. Cooke.
