Decision Research Corporation announced Grinnell InfoSystems, Inc., has selected DecisionMaker Policy, Rating, and Billing for integration with its GIS Oasis Claims and Accounting Modules.
Grinnell offers insurance systems and services to its client base of more than 130 farm mutual insurance companies. The company chose DecisionMaker for deployment to its client base across 11 states, providing policy administration, rating, and billing automation systems and services.
"After weighing the options of build vs. buy, we decided it would be better for us and our customers to integrate the DecisionMaker products with our own products as a replacement for an older policy administration system," says Mike Ward, president of Grinnell. "DecisionMaker's configurable product capability and its billing module are very feature rich. These features will allow us to integrate and customize solutions for our customers. [The] DRC product's maturity and growing customer base made it a much easier decision for us." DecisionMaker is scheduled to be fully implemented and in production by the second quarter of 2008.
