The Society of Insurance Research said it will hold a Product/Claim Summit March 10-12 in San Antonio, Texas, dealing with how best to analyze and employ claims data.
Speakers will include service providers and subject matter experts who focus on maximizing the insights that insurers can draw from their claims data, the Society said.
S.I.R. said participants will learn what claims data is available, what tools are available to manage operational performance, and how to increase the awareness of the value of claims data across an enterprise.
The group said participants are invited to "pick the brains of our experts and tell them what you want in the next generation of solutions."
March 10, the Society will offer a choice of preconference seminars on Insurance Fundamentals or Product Development.
The organization said the seminars are directed at attendees seeking an understanding of the industry beyond their current job, those who sell products or services to carriers and want to become more fluent in the language of the industry, and persons new to roles within product development.
