Oliver Wyman announced the acquisition of research consulting firm Celent. Terms of the deal were not released.
Oliver Wyman said Celent's operations and staff in Boston, New York City, San Francisco, London, Paris, Milan, Tokyo and Beijing will become a separate unit in Oliver Wyman's financial services practice. The firm said Celent will continue to produce research on the financial services industry as they have since Celent was founded in 1999.
Oliver Wyman, a New York-based management consulting firm, is a part of Marsh & McLennan companies.
