Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Commonwealth Consulting Group (CCG) of Jenkintown, Pa. Terms of the deal were not released.
CCG provides employee benefit brokerage and consultative services including association benefit programs, group plans, custom communication pieces, human resource consulting services and flexible spending account administration for their clients, AJG said. CCG was founded in 1994.
Ivy Silver, the principal, and her approximately eight associates will continue to operate in their current location under the direction of David Ziegler, eastern regional executive vice president of Gallagher Benefit Services Inc., a subsidiary of Gallagher.
