SceneGenesis, communications technology provider for the automotive insurance claim and collision repair industries, has recently launched a web-based damage repair program called SceneExchange.
This new online marketplace unites vehicle owners with collision repair needs with repair shops that are capable of performing repairs in an insurer-supported, web -based service program. Insurers submit claims to SceneExchange and an independent appraiser is assigned to the job. An appraisal is then sent to SceneExchange along with digital photos of the damage.
The system will alert collision shops that there is a new job open for bid and they can input a cycle time to complete the repair. The vehicle owner can then select a shop to do the repairs and leaves feedback for the rest of the SceneExchange community to view.
SceneExchange is free to register and free to bid for collision repair shops. More information is available at www.sceneexchange.com.
