The National Association of Insurance Commissioners, Kansas City, Mo., announced that its Web site received more than 3.5 million visits in 2007, tripling the previous year's total.

The domain, www.naic.org, logged a total of 3,643,571 visits from more than 850,000 unique users, up from the 1 million visits received in 2006 and the 480,000 visits received just two years ago.

The Web site for the NAIC's Insure U education program also saw a significant increase in visits. Launched in 2006, the domain, www.insureuonline.org, doubled its Web traffic in 2007 by generating 204,173 Web visits. New features unveiled on the site in the past year include translation into Spanish at www.InsureUonline.org/espanol and a curriculum created specifically for small business owners at www.InsureUonline.org/smallbusiness.

Enhancements for 2008 include translation of the Insure U for Small Business Web site into Spanish, as well as a complete redesign of the System for Electronic Rate and Form Filing (SERFF) Web site, www.serff.org., NAIC said.
