Hub International Limited said its Hub International Transportation Insurance Services Inc. has acquired Billings, Mont.-based Lenhardt Insurance Agency Inc. Terms of the deal were not released.
The firm, founded in 1963 by John Lenhardt, is an insurance brokerage specializing in commercial trucking insurance services, Hub said. The president of the firm, Mark Lenhardt, is the son of its founder and has over 25 years of industry experience.
Dale Kaufman, Hub Transportation's chief executive officer, said the acquisition presents an opportunity for Hub to expand throughout the state of Montana.
The Chicago-based brokerage firm would not provide any additional information about the transaction.
