Chicago-based insurance broker Hub International Limited said its Hub International of California Insurance Services Inc. has acquired JRN Benefits Inc. Terms of the deal were not released.
Hub said JRN, based in Santa Barbara, Calif., had $1.2 million in annual revenue and offers a broad range of employee benefits insurance and consulting services, with particular expertise in helping employers develop and administer qualified and nonqualified retirement plans and other benefit programs.
John R. Nelson, president of JRN, and his associates will continue to operate the JRN business.
