National Association of Insurance Commissioners Executive Vice President and Chief Executive Officer Catherine J. Weatherford is paid $370,000 a year, the NAIC said.
Ms. Weatherford's salary was included in a list of the organization's five highest paid executives that was released.
The others on the list are:
o Chris Evangel, managing director of the NAIC's Securities Valuation Office (SVO) in New York City, $307,878.
o Andy Beal, NAIC's deputy executive vice president and chief legal officer, $262,500.
o Brett Palmer, director of government relations in the NAIC's Washington, D.C., office, $234,000.
o Bob Carcano, NAIC's senior counsel for the SVO, $193,500.
The salaries are based on 26 biweekly pay periods.
