Daytona Beach, Fla.-based insurance broker Brown & Brown Inc. said it has acquired Turner & Associates Insurance Agency Inc. of Tecumseh, Okla. Terms of the deal were not released.
Turner & Associates, with annualized revenue of approximately $1.7 million, writes insurance for the energy sector. The agency provides insurance protection for oil and gas exploration, production and transmission industries, along with several unique programs specifically tailored to that industry.
Gary Turner, president of Turner & Associates, and his staff will continue serving clients from their current location as a stand-alone Brown & Brown operation.
