The National Association of Professional Insurance Agents is seeking nominations for three national awards honoring the work of agents and customer service representatives.

The Alexandria, Va.-based association, is accepting nominations for the Professional Agent of the Year Award, the PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year Award and the PIA National Young Insurance Professional of the Year Award.

Nominations are being accepted between now and Jan. 17, 2008.

The Professional Agent of the Year Award will go to a PIA member and nominations are made by PIA state and regional affiliate associations.

The PIA National Customer Service Representative of the Year Award goes to an agency customer service representative who works for a PIA member insurance agency. The nominations for this award are made by PIA members. This award is being sponsored by The Hartford.

The PIA National Young Insurance Professional of the Year Award will go to an employee, owner or principal of a PIA member agency who is under the age of 40. Both PIA members as well as PIA state and regional affiliates may make nominations for this award.

All three awards will be presented during a luncheon on March 1 in Arlington, Va., in conjunction with the 2008 PIA Federal Legislative Summit and Spring 2008 Board of Directors and committee meetings.
