Siesko Partners, LLC, a New York City-based corporate insurance and risk services firm, and Cybersettle Inc., the online dispute resolution company in White Plains, N.Y., announced a strategic partnership today.
The companies said their combination should provide “a new, fairer method of dispute resolution.” According to their statement, they expect a synergy between the two firms because Cybersettle “excels with high-volume claims and Siesko Partners with high-value claims.”
David Siesko, founder of Siesko Partners, said the partnership would allow his firm to offer a much broader claims resolution plan for policyholders than previously available.
“Commercial insureds, both domestic and international, are desperately seeking credible, fair, alternative dispute resolution methods,” he noted.
Mr. Siesko said combining Cybersettle's online dispute resolution system for high-volume claims with Siesko Partners' ability to resolve complex, high-value claims will allow them to be handled faster and more efficiently.
He explained that self-insureds and third-party administrators (TPAs) typically have a high volume of low-severity claims, which can benefit from Cybersettle's online dispute resolution technology, while Siesko Partners acts as a settlement advocate for the corporation or TPA in connection with complex, high-value claims that arise.
The companies forecast that their partnership will improve policyholder and TPA claim departments' efficiency and “begin a long overdue modernization of the claims management industry.”
