AAMGA Names Henry Education Director

The American Association of Managing General Agents said it has named Jeff Henry its director of education.

Mr. Henry will remain an executive with American Modern Insurance Group, a unit of Midland Companies, where he was responsible for developing training programs for the company for the past 13 years.

The King of Prussia, Pa.-based AAMGA said Mr. Henry is a loan executive. While continuing with American Modern he will devote most of his time to the AAMGA, the association said.

American Modern's parent firm, Cincinnati-based Midland, is under agreement to be acquired by German insurer Munich Re during the first half of next year.
