Joe Plumeri, chairman and chief executive officer of Willis Group Holdings, was the recipient of the 2007 Intrepid Salute Award at the Intrepid Sea, Air and Space Museum in New York last week.
The reward recognized his outstanding business leadership and many philanthropic activities, Willis said.
Mr. Plumeri shared the stage with New York Gov. Eliot Spitzer, who received the 2007 Intrepid Freedom Award.
