The International Insurance Institute said its Third Annual Claims Education Conference will be held May 13-16, 2008 in San Diego.
The Gretna, La.-based firm said the meeting is a straightforward educational conference and “nothing but actual claims training will take place.”
Among the listed sessions: claims customer service for adjusters and managers; policy interpretation made easy; medical terminology; surveying team strengths and weaknesses; effective delegation; telephone techniques; critical thinking for claims.
In addition to the top-notch education, there will be an exhibit hall featuring the latest products and services as well as networking opportunities at the lunches and receptions of the conference.
Registration for the event at Paradise Point Resort and Spa is $695 on or before March 1, 2008 and $795 after March 1, 2008. Room rates vary.
