Itasca, Ill.-based insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has signed an agreement to acquire Yanni Partners Inc. of Pittsburgh. Terms of the deal were not released. The transaction is expected to close before Jan. 31, 2008.
Founded in 1989, Yanni Partners Inc. is an institutional investment consulting firm offering performance analysis, investment strategy development, defined contribution plan investment consulting, spending policy analysis and investment manager selection to their clients throughout the United States.
Their specialization includes Taft-Hartley Plans, public funds, health care organizations, endowments and foundations, religious organizations, and public corporations.
Theresa Scotti, Frank Domeisen and their staff of 30 will continue to operate in their Pittsburgh location under the direction of Michael J. DiCenso, national practice leader of Gallagher Retirement Services, a division of Arthur J. Gallagher's employee benefits brokerage operation.
