The Worcester, Mass.-based Hanover Insurance Group Inc. announced today that Robert P. Myron has been appointed director of corporate finance and treasurer.
Mr. Myron, the company said, will oversee corporate finance activities, including capital management and related initiatives, manage the firm's treasury function, and support business development and merger and acquisition efforts.
Before joining The Hanover Mr. Myron was executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Bermuda-based Argo Group International Holdings, Ltd., which offers specialty insurance and reinsurance products.
Prior to Argo, Mr. Myron was CFO and treasurer at PXRE Group Ltd., Bermuda, a reinsurance provider focused primarily on property catastrophe reinsurance and retrocessional coverage.
