The Target Markets Program Administrators Association said it has awarded two program business member agencies the Association's Best Practice Designation during its 7th annual meeting in Tempe, Ariz.

Agencies receiving this year's award were the American Rental Association Insurance Services and NIP Programs.

Kansas City, Mo.-based ARA Insurance Services provides coverage to rental dealers.

Woodbridge, N.J.-based NIP Programs provides niche programs to commercial clients.

The TMPAA gives the Best Practice Designation to member program business administrators after a “rigorous review' of the member's operations.

“The association continues to take important steps toward raising the expectations for program business operations,” said Jack Russell, executive director of Fireman's Fund Specialty Programs, and chairman of the TMPAA carrier committee.

Mr. Russell added that, “Recognizing the expertise of program specialists and acknowledging the administrators who run successful program operations will not only continue to promote excellence in this industry segment, but also provide important information for program markets as they seek partners with whom to do business.”
