Insurance broker Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. said it has acquired Cedar Hill Insurance Agency Inc., based in Scottsdale, Ariz. Transaction terms were not released.
Founded in 1995, Cedar Hill Insurance Agency is a retail property-casualty insurance program administrator and business process outsourcing firm. They specialize in workers' compensation insurance programs for professional employer organizations and temporary service industries throughout the United States.
Joseph McCormick and his associates, a total of 51 employees, will continue to operate out of their current Scottsdale and Smyrna, Ga., locations under the direction of David J. McManus, president of Artex Risk Solutions Inc, Arthur J. Gallagher & Co.'s international captive and program subsidiary.
